![]() There is no difference between telling a shade to close and telling a light to turn off. ![]() QED Shades on a HW System are treated as a Light load. Well, I'm sorry you got stuck with a bad Programmer, and apparently a bad tech support guy as well. ![]() My FADEDIM commands were for shades not light loads, and the Lutron HW programmer that was hired by the client to do the shade work knew from day 1 what the client wanted and so much as told me not to worry about needing virtuals for the extra shade commands the client requested.he said just send the commands straight to the HW processor as FADEDIM's and it would work he did make the necessary changes as virtual presses and everything works fine now.Īll I know is that when I got stuck early on trying to send the FADEDIMS and called Lutron HW tech support, the tech indicated that the processor was a bit long in the tooth and would not like to see that many commands at one time and to add a delay.which might be fine for some, but my client expected to see a bank of shades move all at the same time, not staggered because of a delay that was necessary because the processor could not keep up. ![]() No, but Crestron had no input on the subject at hand.
